This summer I traveled to Montana for Samantha and Tyler's gorgeous outdoor wedding on the Flathead river. Samantha and Tyler were a wonderful couple, and I'm so glad I was able to get to know them. As soon as Samantha told me about the details of their outdoor wedding, I knew it would be an incredible day. The couple was married on the Flathead River, a place which was deeply significant to them. The river was where they had their first date (fly-fishing), and where Tyler proposed, so getting married on the river made perfect sense. The wedding was absolutely stunning, and I was thrilled to be the one to capture their day. .
The day began in Whitefish where the wedding party got ready at the rustic Haymoon Resort. Samantha and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready together, while the groomsmen hung out next door. Both the bride and groom had thoughtfully picked out gifts for their attendants. While getting ready, the bride and bridesmaids wore cute flowered kimonos which coordinated with their summery bridesmaid dresses.
After the wedding party finished getting ready, we headed to the ceremony site for a first look and a few formal photos.
The ceremony itself took place on the river bank, with the beautiful mountains in the background. I love the way these two look at each other.
Both the of the kids below could win the award for cutest wedding guests of the year.
After the bride and groom said "I do" everyone headed back to the Haymoon Resort for the wedding reception, where the bride had planned a perfect summer day reception.
Thank you Tyler and Samantha for allowing me to document your day! It was such a pleasure to meet you, and I wish you the very best!
